Hey Penners, you asked, you got, there will now be 4 team entries for the 10 Class.  You can now ride 4 times in the 10 class with the same 2 rider changeout rule that applies to the original 3 team entries.

To Clarify the 4 ride rule in the 5 class, in order to have a ride with only one changed-out rider, you must be entered 3 times on teams with the standard 2 rider change-out.   To Clarify the 4 ride rule in the 7 class, you are allowed one ride on a team drawn from entered riders for the draw teams, you are not required to have any other entries in the 7 class to be eligible to ride on a draw team, but you must indicate to Kim by 8PM on the Tuesday prior to the show that you will let your name stand for the draw.  You may or may not be drawn to ride if the number of riders entered is not divisible by 3.

Well, Penners, the 2010 season is upon us.  Shows this year are scheduled as:

Feb 27-28, Cam Clark co-sanctioned show at Olds (it is also USTPA sanctioned)

March 27, KJEN Arena, Carstairs

April 10, Clearwater Arena, Alhambra

May 1-2, Stettler Ag

June 12, JVS, Sundre

June 26-27, RockinH, Bowden

July 17, JVS, Sundre

September 4-5, Regional Finals, Olds

Entry fees and memberships remain same as last year, Memberships are due by January 31, 2010 or there will be a $10.00 late fee.  New Penners CTCPA questionnaire to be included.

Some changes have been made for the 2010 season:  As in 2009, a rider is allowed 4 entries in the 5 class but in 2010 the 4th team entered will only require changing out one rider from any of the other 3 teams entered.  A rider will also be allowed 4 entries in the 7 class, but one of those entries will be a draw team.  You must indicate to Kim via fax or email that you want to let your name stand for a draw team, same deadline as your other team entries.

Points accumulated at the co-sanctioned shows in February will be included in the tally towards year-end awards.  Best 7 out of the 10 shows will count, and you will have to attend 50% of the sanctioned shows (10 this year) to qualify for Regional Finals.
